William Mackinder (28 April 1880 – 8 September 1930) was a British Labour Party politician.
At the 1923 general election Mackinder was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Shipley in the West Riding of Yorkshire, winning the seat from the Liberal Party on his second attempt, after unsuccessfully contesting the seat in 1922.〔 He was re-elected in 1924 and 1929, and had held the seat for seven years when he died at the age of 50 in September 1930.〔 The resulting by-election for his seat was won by the Conservative Party candidate, James Lockwood.
